I want to start blogging my ideas more.
I have this horror movie, or psychological thriller movie idea based on this character with D.I.D.(Dissociative Identity Disorder), also known as, Multiple Personality Disorder, and the movie idea is based on one simple principle. That this dark/twisted character is battling within himself to kill off the rest of his personalities(the bad ones)to have his good(best part of himself)self, survive? Will he be able save his best self? Can he defeat the evil ones within?
-[I also had this horror movie idea about this 'Death Fairy' that when people utter those words, "I wish this person was dead" or any type of wishful death thinking, said out loud, this mad 'Death Fairy' appears? than of course you have the psychotic/delusional FBI homicide detective that lost his job and became completely obsessed and reclusive, anti-social, has lost his mind trying to piece together evidence through mappings of cases all across America, to prove this "Death Fairy" exists? Probably a dumb idea, but if written properly to make the FBI agents mental state completely crumble in the process and will stop at no length to high enough that he won't go, to stop, and FACTUALLY FIND THIS 'DEATH BEING' AND KILL IT. Would be a wicked climax to make this movie stand out, because usually these monsters don't really exist in the physical plain or realm.]-
Back to, 'PICK ONE ALREADY'. So the movie would be based on switching between personalities, that take over, look completely different, amnesia, loss of track and time, a best friend(a girl of course/love/horror/psychological film)who teams up to try and help save him(and many others=heeheehee?)with an idea of her spying on his "others" to find out who they are and how to stop them?
So it gives these other personalities an actual real shape of existence, that he has to literally kill each one, and a mad scientist type psychiatrist, gone mad, underground in the psychological field for his methods being to "RADICAL" is reached out to, and the main character undergoes being put under to find these other personalities and destroy them, or reason with them.
It's a debatable idea whether there should be murder in this film, because it's suppose to have a happy ending, that he overcomes his mental illness and lives happily ever after, in love, with only 'ONE-SELF' the good one, so if there's murder in it, then that means a murderer got away with it, buttttttttt, we can bend that rule and just say, it wasn't him that did it, per say. But then again, you don't have to follow the rules when it comes to ideas about a movie, better to go off from the norm. But there would have to be killing, IT'S A FREAKEN HORROR FILM, but I've seen some wicked psychological thrillers where nobody got killed. The writing was that good!
Everything has to spiral COMPLETELY out of control though; I'm talking, family, society, law enforcement, even the neighborhood pets. Nobody is safe in this film! And giving of the fact that will be realized REAL quick is that his bad alternate personalities are freaken sinister geniuses, but maybe his good personality is genius too? And there is a twist in the good Vs evil principle, that he has a -Child Self-, so will he be able to protect his child self, too?
Welp, that's my idea.
Not like any of these film ideas would ever happen, but still like to document them, cause I forget my ideas within a day, or maybe an hour, Or maybe ten minutes :3
This movie idea came from my researching a lot of self-help stuff about psychology, and I was thinking, with multiple personality disorder, wouldn't one of the best ways to recover from that disorder and take back control of your life, be to just, -PICK ONE ALREADY?- Pick your best personality, best self, and do away with the others?
It's a real BATTLE within.
Movie would be separated from, short beginning, short ending, and an entire middle of PSYCHOLOGICAL MAYHEM. Not to much of a drowning "Plot" cause we got'ta get to the action REAL quick! The battle between the alters.
That's my idea in a nutshell.
I thought about how to add a mystery twist into this, about this being hereditary(a family secret)passed down through the family tree(bloodline), but, who knows?
And because of the title, makes an opening to have some ridiculous humor, especially coming from the sinister alternate personalities, can get pretty BONKERZ.

p.s - I also had a comedy idea about an underground illegal beetle racing ring, completely spun out of control with how serious the main characters can get when it comes to beetle racing? Running from the FBI, evading law-enforcement, gangs and different ethnic groups, mafia, etc., competing against(Will Ferrell, of course) the main character that has held the title for, TEN STRAIGHT YEARS IN A ROW(no beetles were hurt during the making of this film).
Welp, I'm bout to go check out the 1976 film, "Sybil" that I heard for a long time is really great.
